I was watching a thing once that was talking about how animals may actually feel emotion more intensely than humans because they don’t have the same capacity for reason, which serves to temper emotional reactions somewhat. For example, elephants can die of heartbreak, you know. oh no now i am actually tearing up i have so many feelings about birds, guys and most birds mate for life:(
